The Polls Are Open!

You can begin voting NOW, either in person at Early Voting Centers or by Absentee Ballot.

Important Dates:

General Election: November 6, 2012

Absentee Ballot Request Deadline: November 2, 2012, by 5:00 p.m.

Absentee Ballot Due: November 6, 2012, by 7:00 p.m.

Early Voting in Person: October 20 – November 3, 2012

How to Vote Early In Person:  

Each County has early voting sites. You can find a list of County Clerk phone numbers and emails on the New Mexico Vote Matters website, as well as a list of early voting locations. The County Clerk where you live will be able to tell you WHERE you can vote early.

If you live in Bernalillo County, there are Early Voting Sites all over the County. The County Website has an Excellent Map showing these locations. Click on the Green Location markers for dates and hours of operation: http://www.bernco.gov/evl

How to Absentee Vote:

If you are unable to vote early and won’t be here on Election Day, you can Vote By Mail.

In order to vote by mail, you must follow several steps: 1) Request an application from your County Clerk, 2) Turn in the Application, 3) Look for your ballot in the mail. When you get it, fill it out and return to your County Clerk.
